As we have now just entered Spring, now is as good of a time as ever to get cleaning! This Saturday volunteers aged 12 and up will be helping to clean the paths outside the Rugby and Cricket clubs in an effort to get them Spring ready.

Many of you have commented on the very successful PR campaign that was run last year to publicise the opposition to the flood defence plans put forward by Dublin City Council. 

The coverage we received complemented all of the other aspects of the campaign and also brought the issue to a citywide and indeed a national audience.

Clontarf-based Ken Curran was the PR adviser assisting the main committee and his advice and judgement were hugely valuable as the campaign progressed to the major national media organisations.

If you are a small or medium sized business manager/owner you may be interested to know that Ken runs training courses on various aspects of media including PR and general media skills.
